winter is approaching

I love sundays! They are just so awesome. I don't know about you but I love getting dressed up, getting coffee and going to church. Nothing is better than an excuse to get dressed up. Today was just a little bit more special because today was the start of the weather being 10 degrees cooler. I walked outside to get some brunch and all of a sudden wished I put a cardigan on! So in excitement for the winter season I thought I'd put up some of the new jackets and coats that I hope to sport from the very awesome shopnastygal.com. If you've never heard of it I suggest you go look.
I think fur coats are going to make a combat. Just watch

Love this! The fringed look doesn't have to end with summer!

I know this doesn't really have much to do with fall, but isn't this outfit awesome? I'm all of a sudden in need of retail therapy.

everyone should take a look at this website

So usually when I get home and need time to pass by I like to search the web for new and fun websites/blogs. In search for a new accessories site I came across this one. www.gemegjewelry.com. Its a site based in arizona where all the accessories are handcrafted, and one of a kind. Not to expensive which I like. Just purchased my first piece so go and check it out

This will be mine! I have a thing for turquoise

Aren't these beautiful?!

Today's thoughts

Today (even though is only about 12:45) I have had so many ideas. This includes Vintage Dorm ideas, or this can also be for living rooms bedrooms, etc. I hope you find this as fun as i do!
I found this picture after I saw some old vogue magazines at this antique mall here in Lawrence, Kansas. Ive actually started this project for my dorm wall (pictures to be up soon). You can easily do this, if you don't have a local antique mall, by going on google and typing in Old vintage vogue covers, and putting those photos into photoshop and messing around with the saturation a bit. Then go a local craft store ( Michaels, Hobby Lobby you got the idea) get some cheap black or brown frames, and some off white paint, and a sponge. get the sponge and put some paint on them and sponge paint the frames. they should look kind of like this
This was the best example I could find.

Then just put the vogue covers inside and there you go. You have yourself a very awesome dorm/living room/bedroom. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do! Pictures will be posted of my finished project!

starting out in a town far from my city.

I'm going to be starting on my second week at Kansas University. Go Jayhawks! woo hoo! So far it's been bittersweet. I have the freedom, and will power to do whatever I please, but after I finish the loads of homework my professors assign to me. Don't get me wrong, I love my classes, but the homework is time consuming. I'm majoring in Interior Design, and I love it. Yes its hard work, but in the end its nice to think about all the awesome things I will get to do as a adult...well much older adult. Hope you all enjoy!
How great are these colors together. Its covered from head to toe with different colors but it seems to work completely well
Besides the fact that I adore Audrey Hepburn her couch from her movie Breakfast at Tiffany's is to die for. I must purchase for future apartment

This door has such a homie feel to it

The colors! is anybody else just completely starstruck on how great these colors are?!
